What are we working on?
Our development teams go beyond just the webshop. We create systems like our HR platform and identity verification software Verifai, which we use internally and offer to other companies. Through our SaaS solutions, including Gomibo SaaS and Verifai, we deliver tools used worldwide. This gives our work a broader and more technical scope than you might expect. As a developer, you don’t just build internal systems—you also create innovative products with a global impact.

The composition of our tech teams.
Our development team consists of around eighty colleagues, divided into smaller teams of four to eight engineers and a Product Owner, all working together on a single product. These teams are a mix of full-timers, student workers, experienced professionals, and recent graduates, often with a technical background from university or applied sciences (HBO). We don’t look for programmers who already master a specific language but for curious problem-solvers eager to learn and grow.
With us, it’s what you say that matters, not who you are. We operate in a flat organisation with no hierarchy within teams. As an engineer, you’re the technical expert, and you have the freedom to shape your work. Your technical expertise is valued, and non-technical colleagues respect your role.
How do we work?
We work with the MVP mindset, focusing on short release cycles and multiple releases per day. Once you finish something, it can go live almost immediately! Additionally, we proactively replace legacy code. All software has legacy, but that doesn’t mean we maintain it indefinitely.
As a technical expert, your role is taken seriously. You’ll have plenty of autonomy, be involved in technical decisions, and review the code of even more experienced colleagues. Your expertise is central, and we trust you to deliver.

All our software products communicate seamlessly with one another and are user-friendly, as they are used daily by our colleagues and customers. Everything we build is worked on every day and constantly optimised.

- Belsimpel.nl is the most advanced telecom webshop in the Netherlands, and with Gomibo.com, we’re bringing the same innovation to Europe. Our multi-language platform features the most powerful comparison tool in the mobile world, offering over 17 million price combinations for products and services. Internally, we call it ‘The Beast’ for a reason! But we do more than just compare phones and providers. We build all our software in-house. As more telecom companies asked to use parts of our software, we launched Gomibo SaaS to offer our technology and services to other telecom providers.
