This month, Belsimpel supported the local community in Groningen through a donation campaign for the Voedselbank Groningen. With this initiative, support was provided to residents who could use some extra help.

On Friday, April 17, a group of colleagues actively helped with the collection campaign in supermarkets across the city. In addition, donation crates were available at the office throughout the week, making it easy for colleagues to contribute products themselves.

Taking action together for Groningen

The campaign resulted in a wide collection of food and other essential products. A great example of how colleagues contributed to Groningen alongside their daily work.

This initiative builds on previous efforts: during the Christmas period, a group of colleagues also supported the Voedselbank. Their involvement shows that there is a strong focus on social impact within Belsimpel. With initiatives like these, the impact goes beyond just the platform and the customer.
