My experience as a Management Trainee at Belsimpel

“During my Master’s at the University of Groningen, I took part in the Recruitment Days. Through an anonymous CV selection, I was invited for an introductory interview with Belsimpel. I was instantly attracted by the company’s vibrant atmosphere and the chance to contribute right from the start. After a great conversation, I was invited for a follow-up interview at the office – and that’s how my adventure as a Management Trainee began!”

What do you learn as a Management Trainee?

“From day one, you get real responsibilities. For example, I’m working on a project to improve the German customer journey on Gomibo.de. Even though my German is limited, I play a key role in driving progress, facilitating communication between teams, and hitting deadlines.

I’ve also learned a lot about leadership. It’s not just about representing a team, but also about guiding colleagues in their growth, motivating them, and achieving goals together.”
